Destruction certificates are available by request and are issued as final validation your documentation has been destroyed. The destruction certificate certifies all relevant details of each particular shredding service that has been provided to the customer.
Destruction certificates issued for destruction bins or non-registered archive boxes are a common request. This gives the customer total peace of mind that if there is any future event that relates to the information they have destroyed they have written proof that they have shown ‘reason steps’ to destroy the associated information.
If the archive boxes have been registered and stored with CTI Records Management, the destruction certificate will show the client’s archive box code and the CTI bar-code cross reference numbers. These box codes can then be linked with the customers own internal archive catalogue which identifies the box contents confirming what has actually been destroyed.
